Italians are rising up against globalism and demanding the country leave the European Union and become a sovereign nation again due to the EU’s disastrous response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Patriots all over Italy are burning European Union flags while playing the Italian national anthem and posting videos of it with the hashtag #cisalviamodasoli which translates to “We will save ourselves.”
Italy has been hit hard by the coronavirus outbreak, with more Covid-19 deaths than any other country, and the European Union is still demanding payments.

Despite the United States recording more cases of coronavirus, Italy has roughly four times as many deaths from the disease than America.
The devastation has now led Italians to question the value of globalism and, more specifically, ask why they should remain a member of the European Union after the bloc has failed them during their time of need.
Anti-EU sentiment is now endemic in Italy, following the UK’s Brexit, and Italian politicians are ramping up discussions about quitting the European Union as Italian citizens across the country begin burning EU flags.
There is also growing frustration and anger from other EU nations over the superstate’s coronavirus response.
After Italy threatened to quit the European Union, Portugal also lashed out at “repugnant” EU member-states.
The coronavirus pandemic has sparked an unprecedented crisis throughout the EU, with a huge rift erupting between the 27 member-states.
Last week’s failure to agree on a joint EU economic response to the crisis set off a wave of furious criticism from leaders in Italy, Portugal, and Spain.
Last Thursday, Germany, the Netherlands, and other northern European countries rejected the plea of nine EU countries for so-called “corona-bonds.”
Similar to the stimulus package signed by President Donald Trump last week to help Americans, EU nations hoped the proposed “corona-bonds” would help soften the economic impact of the pandemic.
Furious Italian patriots have taken to Twitter to burn EU flags and demand their country leaves the European Union:
France24 revealed that angry exchanges between EU leaders took place during the six-hour video conference call, with “intense disagreements” sparking a furious row.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez told other EU leaders that the “European project” is at stake.
While Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte questioned whether the EU was “truly adapted to a war.”
The French broadcaster claimed that even German Chancellor Angela Merkel admitted the arguments threatened the stability of Europe.
The summit ended with a declaration giving eurozone finance ministers two weeks to come up with a solution.Countries such as Italy and Spain, who are the hardest hit from coronavirus, see the “corona-bonds” debate as a “test of the EU’s commitment to them.”

I think there are things going on that we are not privy to, yet. Things that when we do see, will shock the F out of people. No where in my comment did I state that the President ordered that. I was talking about the totalitarian governors doing it.
They are quite right. It was Russia and China who came to their aid. Globalization and predatory capitalism American style ARE THE MOST RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT IS HAPPENING TO US ALL OVER THE WORLD. The greed entrenched in every capitalist’s brain (no heart) is what is driving all this. Only they the elite/rich/corporations/banks and other predators benefited from globalization, while reg folks did not at all. In the west we got poorer, while in developing countries their reg folks became only less poor. In all countries participating in globalization the elite became unbelievably more rich. Never in history of the world have we seen such looting by elite. On top, they pay low, low tax rates (if at all) which has impoverished all the countrified so we could not meed the need of society, like health care which is so obvious this crisis.
This has to stop and it will once the crisis is over. The help packages govts are implementing inmost countries are only the beginning. Austerity that was always paid by reg folks will never happen again, but expropriation of wealth hoarded by elite and punishing tax rates will be the norm in the future.

you don’t know what you are talking about. Capitalism has lifted masses from poverty, IF they get off their lazy arses and git their biz done. What else is there but socialism/communism, taking from those who have and giving to those who have none, whether they get off their duff or not. Like thats fair. Go live in Venezuela, or better yet, realize we NOW have a glimpse of socialism right with the ‘suggested’ lockdown. I agree that globalism sucks, and am glad the world is finally waking up to it.
Not all ‘capitalists’ have no heart, and Americans have been most generous to help others, even those whom we will never meet. I’m not speaking about governments but the people. If anything, the left, liberal mind has NO empathy, which is shocking, as per a psychologist’s video who tested people for it!
Now that the criminal element in societies is under the gun, lets put our hearts and minds together to help the current crap going on to be resolved, and that the world will be a safer, wealthier place for us to live in, together. This gives me hope that the factions amongst the elites are fighting amongst themselves. Hopefully that will inhibit the rise of the authoritarians that are taking the utmost advantage of this crisis by imprisoning the population whilst stealing everything.
