Texas Governor Greg Abbott has announced the deployment of the state’s National Guard and State police to respond to the growing border refugee crisis.

Taking border security into his own hands, Abbott is sending national guard troops and state troopers to the US border ‘to combat the smuggling of people and drugs into Texas’ after President Biden opened the floodgates.

Abbott issued the deployment order on Saturday following a meeting with Texas DPS Director Colonel Steve McCraw to discussed strategies to increase safety and security along the border.

The announcement follows a massive increase in illegal border crossings since President Joe Biden took office in January.

RT reports: The new ‘Operation Lone Star’ initiative will send ground, air, marine and tactical security assets to high-threat areas of the state’s border with Mexico to stop cartels and other smugglers from bringing drugs and illegal aliens into Texas. Abbott announced the strategy late on Saturday, one day after former president Donald Trump blasted President Joe Biden for creating a “spiraling tsunami” at the border that is “getting worse by the minute.”

“The crisis at our southern border continues to escalate because of Biden administration policies that refuse to secure the border and invite illegal immigration,” Abbott said. “Texas supports legal immigration but will not be an accomplice to the open-border policies that cause – rather than prevent – a humanitarian crisis in our state and endanger the lives of Texans.”

“We will surge the resources and law enforcement personnel needed to confront the crisis.”

More than 100 illegal aliens who have been released by the Biden administration into Texas since late January have tested positive for Covid-19, a spokesman for the border city of Brownsville told local Fox News affiliate KFOX on Thursday. The positivity rate for migrants tested at Brownsville’s main bus station after they’re dropped off there by Border Patrol agents is 6.3 percent. Those who test positive are advised to self-quarantine, but the city has no authority to stop those people from traveling anywhere they want in the US.

The surge in illegal border crossings has been especially acute among minors. Axios reported on Thursday that an average of 321 unaccompanied children a day were transferred by the Border Patrol to the US Department of Health and Human Services custody in the last week of February, up from 47 in early January, before Biden took office.

  1. For your own good. For humanity, for which we need so much less of. Take your shots, over and over and keep your papers close in case we need to check on you, wear your mask, plug into the IOT. Obey, do NOT think for yourself. Traveling is a benefit for those who obey. Do NOT want for what’s not provided ‘free of charge’ .. freedom. Kneel, give up your children, your money, your property, your God and your guns. Eat what we tell you to eat, bugs, cancer causing soy, GMO corn and wheat, not to mention beyond meat grown in a lab from God knows what. Don’t split the seed God says, but it’s okay, it’s for your own good. Pork – God says don’t eat it, it’s unclean, but go ahead and eat a lot of that, it causes cancer but it’s okay, you don’t want to live long anyway. Drive what we tell you to drive, even if a mountain was leveled for your carbon free battery. You have no identity except perversion. In that you will find freedom to express any deviant idea we feed you.
