
Sam Simon the creator of the Simpsons dies from colorectal cancer aged 59.

The Hollywood producer, writer and animator was the co creator of the Simpsons. His animations gave the characters the freedom to do things people wouldn’t dare say or do. He was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2012, and died from the disease on Sunday at his home in Los Angeles.

The philanthropic Millionaire leaves his estimated $100 Million fortune to various humanitarian and animal charities.
He worked in programs such as the Simpsons, Taxi, Cheers and The Tracey Ulman Show which won him 19 Emmy Nominations. The 9 time Prime Time Emmy award winner will be missed by his fans.
