Every major war has an initial catalyst event, that when history books look back on, say was the beginning of war.

Russia Air Force on high alert – have the first shots been fired? 

An unconfirmed report from a German website says:

In the Baltic States there have been recent multiple provocative maneuvers of the Russian Air Force. Russian fighter jets flew to SPIEGEL information most frequently called feints.
