Russia say that claims that they are killing civilians in Syria are false

A spokesman for Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia absolutely does not kill civilians in Syria, despite the false rumours from Human Rights Watch about the actions of the Russian Air Force.

Pravda.ru reports:

According to Peskov, the report from the organization was another hoax. The Russian military, he added, do not bomb terrorists if they hide in residential quarters.

The report by Human Rights Watch stated with reference to eyewitnesses that on October 15, Russian airplanes killed 59 civilians, including 33 children and the commander of a local opposition group.

Russia started the anti-terrorist operation in Syria on September 30.

The same day, Western media started accusing Russia of bombing civilians and the positions of the Free Syrian Army.

However, no evidence has ever been provided.
