Putin Tells U.S. Citizens “Do Not Give Up Your Guns”

Fact checked
Russian President Vladimir Putin tells U.S. citizens not to give up their guns

The right to bare arms to defend one’s self and possessions against a deadly force has been entrenched in American culture and protected by the U.S. Constitution since it’s creation in 1791.

However, the U.S. government seem determined to take that right away from its citizens, amid Russia doing the exact opposite. President Putin wants to give Russian citizens the freedom to chose whether or not they arm themselves.

Politicalvelcraft.org reports:

This will probably come as a total shock to most of my Western readers, but at one point, Russia was one of the most heavily armed societies on earth. This was, of course, when we were free under the Tsar. Weapons, from swords and spears to pistols, rifles and shotguns were everywhere, common items.

People carried them concealed, they carried them holstered. Fighting knives were a prominent part of many traditional attires and those little tubes criss crossing on the costumes of Cossacks and various Caucasian peoples? Well those are bullet holders for rifles.

Various armies, such as the Poles, during the Смута (Times of Troubles), or Napoleon, or the Germans even as the Tsarist state collapsed under the weight of WW1 and Wall Street monies, found that holding Russian lands was much much harder than taking them and taking was no easy walk in the park but a blood bath all its own. In holding, one faced an extremely well armed and aggressive population Hell bent on exterminating or driving out the aggressor.

Moscow fell, for example, not from a lack of weapons to defend it, but from the lying guile of the Reds. Ten thousand Reds took Moscow and were opposed only by some few hundreds of officer cadets and their instructors.

Even then the battle was fierce and losses high. However, in the city alone, at that time, lived over 30,000 military officers (both active and retired), all with their own issued weapons and ammunition, plus tens of thousands of other citizens who were armed.

The Soviets promised to leave them all alone if they did not intervene. They did not and for that were asked afterwards to come register themselves and their weapons: where they were promptly shot. Peter Fonda: Obama is a ‘F – king Traitor’.

Of course being savages, murderers and liars does not mean being stupid and the Reds learned from their Civil War experience. One of the first things they did was to disarm the population.

From that point, mass repression, mass arrests, mass deportations, mass murder, mass starvation were all a safe game for the powers that were. The worst they had to fear was a pitchfork in the guts or a knife in the back or the occasional hunting rifle. Not much for soldiers.

To this day, with the Soviet Union now dead 21 years, with a whole generation born and raised to adulthood without the SU, we are still denied our basic and traditional rights to self defense.

Why? We are told that everyone would just start shooting each other and crime would be everywhere….but criminals are still armed and still murdering and to often, especially in the far regions, those criminals wear the uniforms of the police.

The fact that everyone would start shooting is also laughable when statistics are examined.

While President Putin pushes through reforms, the local authorities, especially in our vast hinterland, do not feel they need to act like they work for the people. They do as they please, a tyrannical class who knows they have absolutely nothing to fear from a relatively unarmed population. This in turn breeds not respect but absolute contempt and often enough, criminal abuse.

For those of us fighting to protect traditional rights from the World Gang Association , the US 2nd Amendment is a rare light in an ever darkening room.

Governments will use the excuse of trying to protect the people from maniacs and crime, but are in reality, it is the bureaucrats protecting their power and position. In all cases where guns are banned, gun crime continues and often increases.

As for maniacs, be it nuts with cars (NYC, Chapel Hill NC), swords (Japan), knives (China) or home made bombs (everywhere), insane people strike. They throw acid (Pakistan, UK), they throw fire bombs (France), they attack.

What is worse, is, that the best way to stop a maniac is not psychology or jail or “talking to them”, it is a bullet in the head, that is why they are a maniac, because they are incapable of living in reality or stopping themselves.

The excuse that people will start shooting each other is also plain and silly. So it is our politicians saying that our society is full of incapable adolescents who can never be trusted? Then, please explain how we can trust them or the police, who themselves grew up and came from the same culture?

  1. Putin is exactly right; all we in the USA need to do is take a look at what happened in Australia when the guns were taken. I do not know the exact percentages but “high” crime shot up over 40% almost over night. It is not unfair or a lied to say this to my fellow Americans and then ask each of them to call their governor and ask they send the FEDS a note..gun rights are a state’s obligation to control so get the hell out of my state – Mt and a few other states have already done this and for the good of its constituents. When regulations increase, freedoms die; when you turn in your guns the only ones armed are the criminals and unfortunately, many of our law enforcement border on being criminals. I cannot see why law enforcement tries to enforce anything this ilk has done – he is an illegal, not even an American, how and why does law enforcement enforce his laws? An illegal, I would think, well, I actually know, cannot make anything legal..therefore, no impeachment for if we do and were successful, all this rat has done becomes legitimate and it makes him legitimate which we know he is not…Dreams of my Father..Hathaway Scholarship and more.

    • You haven’t a clue of what your talking about
Australia crime rate is far lower than it in the USA and much safer place to live ..
      Back wards and paranoid Americans

      • Brother, from 1900-2018, 1.5 million murdered in America(500,000, 1900-1960, 0ne million, 1960-2018). 1899-2018, 3.75 million killed in car accidents & 90 years, one murder to 2-3 killed in car crashes. 62% of all gun deaths are suicides. 52% of all yearly murder is “black killing black & back 20-30 years ago the rate was 42%. A book by a black American Taleeb Starkes, An Uncivil War(The Conflict Between Blacks & Niggers). Brother check out THE BATTLE OF ATHENS TENNESSEE, AUGUST 1 & 2 1946. This was a mid-twentieth century armed insurrection in which 2-300 armed local residents had a 6 hour gun battle, against 2-3 dozen corrupt cops/corrupt police chief & a corrupt mayor that earlier stole an election. Then the use of dynamite to blow open the police station brought justice to this community. A 1992 movie on this incident “An American Story” is on you tube. BTW our colonial history ended in April 1775 over attempted gun confiscation in Concord & Lexington Mass. In these first two battles, hundreds were lost on both sides & England almost won that 8 year war(1775-1783) & if England would have won=no USA.In 1774 before the war started England banned gun powder & guns in the 13 American colonies.OHHH Brother since 1973 about 80 million abortions? Way much more murder here than all kids killed by guns in schools throughout American history. BTW, anti-gun is pro-choice/pro-abortion & “don’t kill any animals & any criminals on death row? Think about it—–OK???????

  3. Pretty damn sad, when you have a COMMUNIST telling the citizens of the United States, not to give up your firearms.

    • If anything, it puts a damper on the neocon narrative that is currently trying to paint Russia as our scariest enemy. If Putin was preparing to invade us, it would be doubtful that he would want us armed. It is the enemy within that we need the most protection from. God help us!

    • Putin is not a communist. He is actually weaning Russian off communism… Read a little before you post.

        • We call everyone who’s ever opposed us a “dictator”. Don’t you think it’s becoming a little old and losing its meaning?

          • Perhaps you prefer Tyrant then

“And it is when a democracy has ripened as fully as this, Plato argues, that a would-be tyrant will often seize his moment.

He is usually of the elite but has a nature in tune with the time — given over to random pleasures and whims, feasting on plenty of food and sex, and reveling in the nonjudgment that is democracy’s civil religion. He makes his move by “taking over a particularly obedient mob” and attacking his wealthy peers as corrupt. If not stopped quickly, his appetite for attacking the rich on behalf of the people swells further. He is a traitor to his class — and soon, his elite enemies, shorn of popular legitimacy, find a way to appease him or are forced to flee. Eventually, he stands alone, promising to cut through the paralysis of democratic incoherence. It’s as if he were offering the addled, distracted, and self-indulgent citizens a kind of relief from democracy’s endless choices and insecurities. He rides a backlash to excess—“too much freedom seems to change into nothing but too much slavery” — and offers himself as the personified answer to the internal conflicts of the democratic mess. He pledges, above all, to take on the increasingly despised elites. And as the people thrill to him as a kind of solution, a democracy willingly, even impetuously, repeals itself.”

          • Ah, but is an authoritarian dictator really a bad thing? Just because the government has one leader who will not be moved out, as well as complete control, does not mean that the people will be oppressed. It is highly likely? Yes. Is it a certainty? No, Not by a long shot.
Truly, they may legitimately do more good in such a role.

Maybe you can give me a list of regimes where totalitarian dictators have preserved freedom of speech, freedom of religion and many of the other rights we take for grant.

    • And that enemy within is running for the Dem. nomination for POTUS>
BTW Sean Adl-Tabatabai – It’s not “bare” arms. The subject has nothing to do with sleeves. The 2nd amendment is about the right to BEAR arms. SMH

  21. just maybe, if people asked putin nicely, he just might send over some of those nice ak-47 rifles. they are or should be, the top firearm, in the world. hey vlad, mail me for my adress.

    • The only advantage to an AK-47 is its reliability and its .30-caliber. The M1a is just as reliable and a lot more accurate, and has a bit more punch than the AK. The AR-15 is just as reliable (if taken care of) and is a lot more accurate, though it doesn’t have the punch or the weight of the M1a. Finally, both the M1a and the AR-15 platforms are of American manufacture and pretty good quality, where the AK varies from worth its weight in metal filings to not half bad, depending on its provenance, which you are rarely sure of.

  23. US-Russia Relations about to collapse due to NATO build-up. So reads a news headline. The most damaging effect to a U.S. – Russian relationship would be the rhetoric about the need to prepare for war with Russia, as is being echoed out of Washington D.C. Nothing like agitating, or better yet saber rattling.

  25. I like putin, atleast the Russians have a leader with some balls. The current president here is a puss, and all of the candidates for ’16 are a joke to say the least. Time to move away from dependence on government, and evolve to a new era in which the main focus centers around the individual. I’m going to stay armed whether it’s ‘legal’ or not.

    • People love to bow down to an alpha male and his balls. Sad.
He’s an authoritarian dictator who destroys freedom of speech.

  37. Sorry to disappoint (no I’m not) you Putin groupies, but Putin’s gun restrictions could get him nominated as the Democrat presidential candidate in 2020. And BTW, using guns against Putin’s authoritarian government is not tolerated. Just sayin’… 🙂

    Russia’s gun laws:

Russian legislation on gun control is relatively strict, limiting the circulation of firearms to Russian citizens older than eighteen years of age with a registered permanent residence, and for the purposes of self-defense, hunting, and sports activities only. The acquisition of guns is based on licenses provided for a five-year period by local police departments at one’s place of residence after a thorough background check, including a review of the petitioner’s ability to store guns safely and an evaluation of his/her medical records. Mentally ill people and those who have been treated for substance abuse are not allowed to possess firearms.
Major issues related to gun control are regulated by the
Federal Law on Weapons and implementing regulations issued by the
federal government and varied executive agencies. Legislative
assemblies of the Russian Federation constituent components can enact
provincial laws related to the circulation of firearms so long as they
do not contradict federal legislation. Individuals are not allowed to carry guns acquired for
self-defense; a license only serves as a carrying permit for hunting
and sport firearms when these guns need to be transported. Russian
citizens may not own guns that shoot in bursts or have magazines with
    more than a ten-cartridge capacity.

  39. A great article Sean. I couldn’t have said it better myself. History always points to the foibles of man, but sadly most don’t want to understand history because it always points out exactly the tactics of those who believe it is their right to rule at the expense of those who produce and keep their culture alive. Many rulers and not smart, it’s just that their psychopathy gives the appearance of being so as they aggressively push their agenda against the very people who support their tyranny with their labors.
THAT IS EXACTLY WHY CIVILIZATIONS AND CULTURES EVENTUALLY ALWAYS FAIL !!!

  40. Putin want you to have guns to attack US government. NATO wants probably Russians to have guns too, for the exact same reason.
