Prince Andrew Ignores Pretrial Hearing In Sex Abuse Case Because Court Papers Weren’t Served ‘Properly’

Prince Andrew, who is accused of sexual abuse in a lawsuit by a victim of the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, was not represented at a pretrial hearing in New York on Monday, because the court papers were ‘improperly served’ according to his lawyers.

The Dukes legal team said that they planned to ‘boycott’ the hearing that was due to take place by conference call with a Manhattan judge.

RT reports: The Duke of York was served legal papers late last month, ahead of a trial in which he is accused of sexual assault, battery and inflicting emotional distress on Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who also claims to have been abused by deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein when she was under the age of 18.

The civil case began in New York on Monday with a pretrial hearing. However, court documents filed by Andrew’s legal team state that the disgraced prince is contesting the manner in which he was served the court summons, which was handed to police security outside the Royal Lodge in Windsor, England, instead of directly to Andrew by an agent of the crown.

Andrew was not going to be represented at the pretrial hearing, the Times reported, as doing so would have amounted to recognizing the summons.

The Queen’s second son has denied ever having sexual relations with Giuffre and told the BBC in 2019 he had “no recollection” of ever meeting her. However, he has been photographed with his arm around Giuffre.

Also present in the infamous photograph is Ghislaine Maxwell, a former girlfriend of Epstein and purported ‘madam’ who allegedly helped the notorious pedophile groom and abuse underage girls. Maxwell is currently held in a Manhattan jail awaiting her own criminal trial on sex trafficking charges, which is set to begin in November.

  1. I thought a police officer could legally serve them Thats the usual situation .Its strange that just refusing to answer the door to the summons is allowed to be legal really, when they know your inside. Even stranger that rape and pedophilia aren’t a criminal matter in Andrew’s case .But I dont believe shes entitled to any more money Shes happily married with a family so not suicidal or in mental health facilities. She received a million dollars as a gift from Epstein just out if his generosity I’ve heard which the msm are keeping hushed up .There’s some big legal eagles after Andrew and why and who they are needs to be exposed.

  2. But of course he knows the papers were served. He knows he has been accused and that people want him to be tried. His actions imply that he and she both believe it is all right for him to have sex with underage persons. After all, the law is referred to as belonging to the queen, and what mother would make her son subject to the rules that she makes everybody else subject to? Maybe a non-sociopathic one? What is really on display here is that it’s not the law that is defective but the concept of royalty.

    • Correction. In the third sentence I intended that the pronoun ‘she’ should be understood as referring to the queen, not to his victim. Sorry. My fault.

  3. Go get him. Take the US Marshals service, and go get him. If he was able to have non-representation there and made the court date, considering the purpose of the papers is to notify him of the court date and include the pre-trial discovery paperwork for his lawyers, there is no excuse to let him play games. If he really does want to pretend special rules apply to him in American court, well we can make some special rules. If his security is hiding him, then he can be served in the manor he was. If you are not available to be served, that is your issue. There you go, special rule just for royals. Just like they like it. No wonder Blackbeard hated these people. He is not under British Law here, he is Under American law where we are all of equal standing in the eyes of the court, Queen’s disgraced son or not. He should be smart and keep this as easy as possible on the Queen which includes not forcing us into making the US Marshal Service go retrieve him.
