Women are not the only people who can get pregnant, according to Democrat Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) who made the extraordinary claim during a House Oversight and Reform Committee meeting on abortion last week.
According to Rep. Maloney, the GOP’s “decades long goal of overturning Roe v. Wade” has “stripped away a constitutional right relied on by generations of American women.”

The second lie to come out of Maloney’s mouth was the claim that “the goal of these right-wing extremists is clear, to control the bodies of women, girls, and any person who can become pregnant.”
Rep. Maloney’s comments about who can and can’t become pregnant came in the same week that a slew of Democrat witnesses, including the president of the National Women’s Law Center, refused to define what a woman is and suggested that anyone who says men can’t give birth is “inciting violence.”
