Syria is preparing to protect its sovereignty via military force in the event of an invasion by Turkey or Saudi Arabia, the Syrian Ambassador to Russia, Riad Haddad has said.
“We will resist together with our allies against this aggression, we will bravely confront it in order to protect our sovereignty.”

“Because we believe that any military intervention should occur in coordination with the Syrian government,” Haddad told RIA Novosti.
Fort Russ reports:
“Otherwise it would be a violation of our sovereignty, and we in no way find that acceptable”, — said the Ambassador, quoted by RIA Novosti.
Earlier, Turkey and Saudi Arabia announced their the readiness to start a joint ground military operation in Syria.
UAE and Bahrain have stated that they are also considering the possibility of participating in hostilities.
