Norway donates NOK 10 million to Gaza victims

Fact checked

From an article in The Norway Post: “Norway is granting NOK 10 million in aid to the Palestinian health authorities to help in the treatment of Palestinians wounded in the conflict on the Gaza Strip, says Foreign Minister Børge Brende.

The humanitarian situation in Gaza is serious, with many civilians seriously wounded, and there is a shortage of medical equipment and capacity for treatment. Norway has therefore decided to gtrant NOk 10 million to strengthen the ability of Palestinian health institutions to treat more of the wounded from the Gaza conflict, says Foreign Minister Brende.

In especially difficult cases, it could also be possible to send patients with special needs to Norway for treatment”, Brende says.
