The rest of the world is “collapsing in laughter” at the Democratic Party’s attempt to blame “Russian hacking” for Hillary Clinton’s election loss, according to Noam Chomsky.
Only the most naive liberal could possibly believe the DNC’s talking point at this stage, Chomsky argues, as almost four months have passed since the losing Clinton campaign first made the claim – and since then absolutely no evidence has been produced.
“Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence,” as Carl Sagan said.

But despite the lack of any evidence at all, mainstream media has run with the Democratic Party issued propaganda, giving “analysts” like John Podesta, now employed by the Washington Post as a columnist, a free pass to toss around lies and slander, without even threatening to produce any evidence.
It’s all hot air and bluster from the Democrats at the moment and even leftwing figures like Noam Chomsky are calling them out on their lies.
Speaking at the University of Arizona, before a public audience, Professor Chomsky responded to a question about the mainstream media’s role in reporting on the “Russian hacking”.
“Most of the world is just collapsing in laughter. Suppose all the charges are true, I mean every single one, it is so amateurish by US standards that you can hardly even laugh.”
Chomsky points out that the rest of the world know the United States would never let itself be “hacked” by a foreign country. Why? Because hacking foreign countries is what the United States does best. Nobody hacks the master hacker.
“The first 9/11, it happened on September 11, 1973, in Chile,” Chomsky said, referring to the CIA-backed coup that overthrew Chile’s president Salvador Allende. “We did it. Was that interfering or hacking a party? This record is all over the world, constantly overthrowing governments, invading, forcing people to follow what we call democracy, as in the cases I mentioned.”
“As I say, if every (Russian hacking) charge is accurate, it’s a joke, and I’m sure half the world is collapsing in laughter about this, because people outside the United States know it. You don’t have to tell people in Chile about the first 9/11.“

Evidence is not required for claims made by Democrats. Only Republicans and other party officials are held to the “evidence” standard. No one needs evidence to make claims against Trump, but if he makes a claim watch out, apparently only then do we need this thing called “evidence”.

The fact you used the term “climate change” just proves your side lost the argument. Man Made Global Warming was the term…but unfortunately it was a lie (err…sorry, “an inconvenient untruth”). No one denies climate “changes”. Liberal science deniers were forced to change their claims (as well has change data, hide the decline, refuse to release methodology for verification, eliminate contradicting valid data, etc., etc., etc.). By using the catchall phrase of “climate change” they can include EVERYTHING (gee, temperatures in the Antarctic are dropping…”climate change!”, northern ice flows are increasing…”climate change!”, our seamonkeys died…”climate change!”).
CO2 increases cause rising temperatures!…except that is a 100% proven lie…CO2 increases FOLLOW rising temperatures. If you “believe” in science you can make the claim that rising temperatures cause increased release of CO2 but you cannot make the opposite claim, well you can’t “scientifically” but that hasn’t stopped liberals from doing so anyways.
Very interesting. I see a title that makes a claim that the article doesn’t support. The only person I see making wild accusations and casting blame is the author of this piece of fake news. This is just another pathetic fright-wing strawman set up by a bootlicking troll – making wild accusations against the Democrats for no good reason except that slinging mud is all they do. I wish that the author of this piece would have put Chomsky’s comments in his context. Chomsky is arguing that the world is laughing because the U.S. has brought enormous influence to bear on foreign elections, beginning in 1946 and including the 9/11/73 takeover of Chile. Chomsky’s criticism goes to our habit of interference in other countries, not “liberal” claims about the effect of Russian interference in our 2016 election. I realize Chomsky’s argument is complex, and complexity is something this site doesn’t do very well.
Podesta made up the whole thing to distract from his horrifying emails and the TRUTH they contained that could not be denied as emails are certified and not able to be changed without the changes being logged in which someone forgot to tell that dumb@$$ Donna Brazile. She tried the “emails were changed” line and was immediately shut down because that is not possible. obama ignored the whole narrative about Russia hacking the DNC until the morning of November 9th 2016 when Hillary lost–THEN and ONLY THEN did the narrative become the mantra of the leftists and continues to this day DESPITE A TOTAL LACK OF E-V-I-D-E-N-C-E. The whole thing is a lie to distract from the absolute and total corruption of the obama regime with the spying on President Trump being just the tip of the iceberg.
