“Real Americans,” concerned with “the rule of law and the future of the republic” want “one thing and one thing only for Christmas,” according to Morgan Freeman – a Hillary Clinton indictment leading to jail time.
“Americans who believe in democracy and the rule of law, regardless of their political stripes, want to see the law of the land applied to Hillary Clinton,” Morgan Freeman said.
“They want to see justice done, and they want to see it now.”
Speaking in New York about his new film Just Getting Started on Friday, Morgan Freeman said Americans were right to consider President Trump’s tax cuts to be “a kind of Christmas present” that “will be unwrapped in February” but the veteran actor cautioned the president from withholding from the people what they really want.
“Trump was elected by the people to clear away the old cronyism, the corruption, the networks of criminals in white collars and government vehicles.”
Freeman plays an ex-mob lawyer in Just Getting Started, and he said after studying mob bosses throughout history for the role he was struck with how similar they are to Hillary Clinton.
According to Freeman, history teaches us that the former First Lady’s crimes must be seen to be punished.
“You have to chop the head off the snake. You have to set an example and strike fear into the networks of criminality. You have to re-set the law of the land.“
“Hillary Clinton is the Al Capone of our era. Goddamnit man! Everybody can see it, but nobody is doing anything about it.
“This is what the people are crying out for and it just happens to be exactly what this country needs right now.”
“It’s time to listen to real Americans, the ones who care about democracy and the constitution. This isn’t a partisan political thing. This is about morals and decency.”
The veteran actor, who remains as professionally active as at any point in his long career, cannot be accused of partisan bullying. It appears the 80-year-old star is simply a straight shooter who would prefer politicians and public figures are held to the same standards as everyone else.
In September Freeman appeared in a viral video demanding President Trump speak directly to the American people about the extent of Russia’s meddling in the 2016 presidential election.
While insisting that the Kremlin’s election interference is “no movie script,” and that he did not know whether the allegations were true or not, Morgan said, “we need our president to speak directly to us and tell us the truth.”
“We need him to sit behind the desk in the Oval Office and say, ‘My fellow Americans. During this past election, we cam under attack by the Russian government,” Freeman demands Trump to say, adding, ‘I’ve called on Congress and our intelligence community to use every resource available to conduct a thorough investigation to determine exactly how this happened.’”
