Moon Landing Was A Hoax Claims Filmmaker

Filmmaker Bart Sibrel believes the Moon landings were a hoax to hook the public’s imagination and divert it from the Vietnam War. People now believe the historic event to be true, and hold on to their belief with religious zeal.

The controversial filmmaker has been promoting the idea of the fake moon landings for over 20 years and says he now has evidence to prove his claims.

Sibrel claims he has raw and original NASA footage showing the Apollo 11 crew being directed from a third source, maybe CIA, as to what to say and when, while communicating with ground control. He claims the Astronauts never left near earth orbit, and certainly didn’t make their way to the moon, because it is near impossible for living things, due to cosmic radiation. If it were possible to go to the moon and back, humans would have been experts at it by now and would have colonized the featureless Moon for its resources.

The Astronauts always seem to look a bit withdrawn when giving original interviews, as if the greatest event for humankind has not been able to put a twist in their steps and let their tongues sing out as to the wonders of their achievement. Neil Armstrong, the first man to appear on the moon, was known to be very reclusive and hardly spoke publicly about his great achievement for the public.

The Daily Star reports:

Sibrel said he has obtained raw, unedited footage from NASA – that was never released to the public – that features radio conversation between crew and a third confidential party that prompts the astronauts with what to say and when to speak.

Sibrel, who directed the film A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon, says: “I consider it not a theory, I consider it a fact.

“For the first three years making the movie, I was under the idea it might not be true.

“Then I obtained an outtakes reel.”

In the footage, a voice says “talk” before Armstrong relays back to Mission Control in Houston – Nasa’s headquarters.

Sibrel believes this is a third-party voice – he assumes from a CIA agent – prompting Armstrong to speak and what to say.

The 51-year-old said the idea of man setting foot on The Moon is “absurd” and said they were used to force the public’s gaze away from the Vietnam War.

“If it was so easy in 1969, there would be bases on the moon by now”, he added.

“(Christopher) Columbus sailed to the new world and it is absurd to say they could do something that cannot be completed today.

“They (the public) cannot see it clearly because it’s a religious event to them.

“I once spoke to a college professor and asked him if it was revealed Neil Armstrong didn’t step foot on the moon, would they believe it? He said he would still think it was real.”

Sibrel cites the studies of aerospace engineer Wernher von Braun as another reason why humanity has yet to make it to the Moon successfully.

He said the Van Allen Belt – 272 miles from Earth – is impenetrable due to its high levels of radiation and a space rocket capable of reaching the Moon would need to be the size of the Empire State Building and weigh the same as the Queen Mary cruise liner.

Sibrel also claims the Moon is hit by mega micro meteorite storms every 48 hours capable of killing astronauts instantly and damaging space craft.

  1. O.K. let’s do this again. The burden of proof for a moon landing “hoax” is on Sibrel. He “thinks it might be a CIA agent talking to Neal Armstrong?” (Pure speculation. And fairly outrageous.) The idea that we didn’t have any other moon landings is preposterous. Two others were made and materials left behind, like a rover, that can be seen from earth based telescopes! Let’s see this “Out take reel” he claims to have. Make it available to everyone. Sounds to me like Sibrel is the hoaxer. He may be convinced of some weird CIA hoax but the rest of us are not convinced. How then is this news?

  3. The flag actually did wave as though it was being blown by the wind when no one was touching it. That did happen.
