Holmes is accused of killing 12 people and injuring 70 others when he allegedly fired upon a crowd of people watching the Batman film The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, Colorado on July 20th, 2012.
Conspiracy theories around the Batman shooting have circulated since the event took place in 2012 with many people suggesting that more than one person was involved in the killing spree. James Holmes also apparently told another inmate that his therapist programmed him to kill using NLP.
