The beloved film star, Johnny Depp, brought his two Yorkshire terrier dogs, Pistol and Boo, to Australia during the filming of upcoming sequel to the “Pirate of the Caribbean”.
The Australian government have threatened him with up to 10 years prison time due to the tough quarantine laws, which Depp apparently ignored.
An Australian senate committee were told that if the case goes to court, Depp could face a fine of £340,000 AU dollars ($263,00 US dollars) and/or 10 years in prison.
The pilot of the plane that brought Depp and his pets into the country could also face two years in prison if the case goes to court

Depp’s wife Amber Heard has reportedly taken the dogs, Pistol and Boo, back to California. Depp is said to have also returned from Australia. The actor’s reps were not immediately available for comment.
