White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters Wednesday that President Biden enthusiastically supports a study on the viability of slavery reparations.
During the press conference a reporter pointed out that during the presidential campaign, Biden had supported a study for reparations. The reporter then asked whether Biden would sign legislation endorsing reparations for African Americans.

“He’s supported a study of reparations. I believe that’s what’s being discussed and studying the continued impacts of slavery, which is being discussed in this hearing on H.R. 40, and he continues to demonstrate his commitment to take comprehensive action to address this systemic racism that persists today. Having that study is a part of that. He’s signed an executive order on his first day which would begin to deliver on his commitment to having an across-government approach to addressing racial inequality and making sure equity is a part of his entire policy agenda. He would certainly support a study of reparations. He understands that we don’t need a study to take action right now on systemic racism, so he wants to take actions in his own government in the meantime.”

Good, except; The North did not wage war on the Confederacy or invade and burn and rape the south over slavery. It was to preserve the Union and prevent free trade. It was not a Civil War.. that implies two forces seeking to control the whole. The South never sought to rule the North. It was a war over the secession of the Confederate states, a right guaranteed under the Constitution at the time. The myth that the South fought to preserve slavery is one of the most damaging historical untruths of all time. The official 911 memes are a good recent analogy.
Slavery reparations. Will never happen? .. who would decide who gets what? It’s a dangerous game. Might happen? The big banks would benefit most, fees and of course that much money sloshing around in a failed economy would eventually end up back on Wall Street. The only possible positive outcome would be a dominant people’s third party to kick out the thieves and liars in Washington.
I’ve always said that the establishment should grant militant Blacks the states of Georgia and North Carolina.
Militant Blacks could label their new nation the state of Black Diversity Supremacy and would ideally declare their independence from the the US.
Non-Militant Blacks could remain in the US, but their voting rights would be transferred to the new state of Black Diversity Supremacy.
It would be even better if all ethnic groups had their own state to call home, and they too would also have the option of seceding from the US.
Even though all US Blacks today have never been slaves, it would be righteous to give all ethnic groups a state and the option to secede from the US.

The government did not own any slaves. Besides, slavery was legal until the Republicans fought a war to end it. I am all for making the Democrats pay, aftercall it was democrats who owned all the slaves.
