Was There A Massive Blackout At The Vatican?

Fact checked
Italy Vatican blackout

The Vatican was reportedly plunged into darkness on Sunday.

There have been conflicting reports as to whether Vatican City, which is an independent city in in the center of Rome, suffered a power outage or not over the weekend.

There was a total blackout in Pakistan shortly before the Vatican one was reported..

Pakistan was hit by what appeared to be a nationwide blackout, leaving up to 200 million people without power, officials and witnesses said.

According to Distractify: There’s been no official confirmation about a blackout in Vatican City, as the International Business Times reports.

Nevertheless, former Republican Congressional candidate Anthony Aguero tweeted about the reported blackout, as did former Republican Congressional candidate Mike Detmer.

Other Twitter users linked the Vatican blackout reports to the recent blackouts in Pakistan and the (still unsubstantiated) allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 U.S. presidential election.

  1. Glad at least one news source is reporting this!
the Vatican was blacked out there were live streams of it and you heard gunshots on the audio
Also Berlin, Pakistan and parts of Great Britain had blackouts…. Know that the US military stoop a sale of General Electric to China in Pakistan yesterday too — this deal was discovered in Pelosi’s “stolen” laptop … it was even hid from GE employees!
I know more but will wait for more confirmations before I say
