DNA India today reporting (link): “Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar on Sunday admitted having been called ‘Hitler’ and said that he was not ashamed about it, according to reports.

”I am a Hitler and I will be worse than Hitler if need be, to stop illegalities,” he allegedly said.  KCR was responding to the issue of of the state’s decision to hold Rs 20 crore day-long survey of Telangana reidents on August 19 for making sure welfare schemes and benefits reach the most needy residents.

However the decision had evoked apprehension amongst the people of the state who felt that the survey will be used to deny benefits to people belonging to Seemandhra..  KCR and his party had denied having such intention. KCR on Sunday met with Seemandhra CM Chandrababu Naidu to sort out differences.

The relationship between the two CMs has been acrimonius, with both making sarcastic jibes against each other in the past.  However, according to reports, both of them had a productive meeting where they discussed reallocation of around 4500 state goverment employees of the former Andhra Pradesh government.

The CMs also decided that the Telangana Assembly will ne convened after the Andhra Pradesh assembly, say reports.”
