Hillary Clinton Rushed Away From 9/11 Ceremony After ‘Medical Episode’

Hillary Clinton was forced to leave a 9/11 ceremony in New York City on Sunday morning after an apparent “medical episode,” according to reports

Video appears to show her collapse as she is led into a van after suffering a ‘medical episode’ during the 9/11 memorial service.

Some sources say that she lost a shoe as she was helped into the van.

One witness reported seeing Clinton stumble off the curb after her “knees buckled”, though her aides have tried to explain the incident away as ‘overheating’

According to the Sunday Express reporters “who attempted to follow her were barred from leaving the press area at the ceremony.”

The Mail Online reports:

She seems to nearly fall to the ground before she is caught by her aides, who hold her up. Her security detail then had to help her into the van by grabbing each of her arms.

The former Secretary of State then appears to fall forward towards the door of the van before being bundled inside.

She appears to lose a shoe under the vehicle in the struggle before being driven to daughter Chelsea’s apartment in Manhattan.

Despite the concerning footage, she emerged from the home at 11:45am on Sunday saying she was fine. She told waiting reporters: ‘I’m feeling great, it’s a beautiful day in New York’.

A smiling Clinton was then greeted by a young girl on the street to pose for a picture. She then waved  at customers at a nearby restaurant before getting into a van.

She is now believed to be heading back to her house in Chappaqua, New York. It is not known whether she saw a doctor.

Nick Merrill, her travelling press secretary, said Clinton ‘overheated’ during the ceremony, but had quickly recovered.

But the video seems to show her symptoms are far worse than her aides have suggested.

The latest incident will spark new questions over her health.
