Study Suggests Global Warming Is Oppressing Black Students

Study says global warming is oppressing minority students

According to a new study, global warming is oppressing minority high school students and is therefore inherently “racist”.

Seriously. An actual study from the National Bureau of Economic Research has concluded that when warm weather occurs, black and minority students unfairly suffer as a result.

“When outside temperatures exceed 70 degrees, students’ learning appears to suffer. The hotter it gets beyond that point, the more student learning suffers,” Joshua Goodman, a professor of public policy at Harvard University said.

Mrctv.org reports: Exactly how serious are these concerns? The study finds that for every 1 degree Fahrenheit increase outside, test scores decrease 1 percent. Students tend to struggle more on unusually hot days – particularly African-American and Hispanic children.

While the precise reasoning for this is still unknown, that didn’t stop Goodman from speculating it has to do with wealthier (and therefore white) children having more access to educational tools that can help counter the negative effects of warmer weather.

He also suggested a magical tool that may offset the problem of heat in schools. Behold:

“It appears that well-functioning school air conditioning can almost entirely offset the impact of heat,” Goodman stated.

“Heat interferes with students’ accumulation of knowledge, and we know that the modern macroeconomy is increasingly dependent on having highly skilled workers,” Mr. Goodman said. “Certainly in the long run, if heat is preventing people from learning, that should be a drag on the macroeconomy and on economic growth.”

Alright, so in order to produce more skilled workers, all we have to do is provide schools with more funding, right? But not so fast. As Jason Riley points out in the Wall Street Journal, throwing more money at schools has proven to be ineffective, especially with teachers unions’ agendas rarely lining up with what students actually need.

Here’s a radical solution: When advocating for education policy, let’s pay less attention to worthless teacher unions and more attention to air conditioning.

  1. no Actually , you will discover that air conditioning is the culprit driving global warming and not only that it will be recognized as the greatest threat to human health since tobacco .Even more deadly than 5g and just as widespread. And you wait till civil disobedience or war break outs out in highly over populated zones ,littered with high rise boxes each with its won air conditioner Science has had the law insist all new units ,since about 3 years ago are fuelled with a new improved gas that guarantees that the units will explode like a bombs when ignited by a spark .Imagine the domino effect in a city like new york. And no fire service will be able to contain it either And they are outside where the indoor sprinklers wont stop them and the devastation to building on top of the fire of multiple explosions , like bombs will secure the destruction of the building anyway and the deaths of tens of thousands almost instantly in highly populated maximum density areas. No air conditioners must be banned and removed from all developments, all hospitals school public building homes cars buses trains ships as spoon as possible They are the ultimate weapon of the elite in extending and maximizing their complete power over the people.
