Gay couple CJ Phillips and Charlie Rainwater bought the internet domain name ‘JebBushForPresident.com’ in 2008 and are going to be using the new website to promote LGBT awareness and equality. They have no plans to sell the domain to prospective presidential candidate Jeb Bush.
According to many however, this was a well-planned and strategic move, as Phillips and Rainwater, could make lots of money by selling the site name to the Bush family.

UK Metro reports:
Self-described ‘high-tech, nerdy bears’ CJ Phillips and Charlie Rainwater bought the domain name in 2008, and will be using the site to promote LGBT awareness.
And the news is likely to frustrate Florida Governor Jeb Bush – the son of former President George Bush senior – who will have hoped to use the site to run his presidential campaign. Bush has historically drawn the ire of the LGBT community after saying in 1994 that gay men and lesbians did not deserve special legal protection and that ‘sodomy’ should not be ‘elevated to the same constitutional status as race and religion’.
‘This page is intended to prompt understanding, insight, and healthy dialogue in the ever changing landscape of civil rights and social justice,’ Mr Phillips and Mr Rainwater say on the site.
‘Now we just need to find some time!’
Several parties have approached the Portland, Oregon, couple with offers to buy the domain, they said, with one even asking why a gay couple would have a ‘candidate-centric’ domain.
Bush re-iterated his belief that ‘marriage is a sacrament’ this week, while also saying people should accept court rulings regarding the legalisation of same-sex marriage and ‘respect’ gay and lesbians in committed relationships, reports the Washington Post.
