
Chris Denning, the disgraced former Radio 1 DJ, has been jailed for 13 years for sex attacks on 24 boys as young as nine – including one at Jimmy Savile’s house.
The 73-year-old, who was arrested in June last year by detectives from Operation Yewtree, admitted a total of 40 charges over a 20-year period.

Denning – one of the founding presenters on the flagship station – used drink and drugs, including ecstasy, to groom his young victims.
He took young boys out to watch Top Of The Pops recordings and introduced them to a string of stars, including the disgraced late DJ Jimmy Savile.
