Irish drag queen Panti Bliss shares her experience of the little, everyday things that can have a huge impact on the wellbeing of gay people. Panti expresses her thoughts on navigating a world in which the simple act of holding hands can be a political statement in itself.
In the speech she says “I am 45 years old, and I have never once unselfconsciously held hands with a lover in public.”

@Panti Bliss if anyone can forward it to you
Sorry Panti it seems nobody has ever told you the reason you’re on this earth. Any idea? Have those in the know failed you ? Or maybe someone told you and you dismissed him/her as a crackpot ?
So in case you’ve not heard, here it is. You have a Maker (seems pretty obvious, no?) He has created you so you could enjoy happiness for all eternity in the love of His presence. Even death can’t stop that! But there is a string attached: and here it is You must agree with His plan for you. It means tuning in to His Word (yes, God speaks, seems rather normal, no?) and anybody who tunes in can hear His voice. Read the Gospels, read Revelation, asking Him to reveal Himsel to you and if you mean business soon you’ll hear Him talking to you. Then you’ll find that one of His many names is Jesus. If you put your life in His hand and follow His instructions, He’ll guide you to that place where no man can go by oneself.
Guess what, there’s no other way, only lame attempts to make up ways that don’t even exist. He’s waiting for you, don’t delay in seeking Him.
Wishing you the best
Lil’ Johnny
