The Mirror reports:
Mr Cameron, who is still in charge of the country for at least another 60 days, was sitting in the Royal Box alongside Wills and Kate, Benedict Cumberbatch and his mother Mary.
And the whole day was going to plan, with Murray lifting the title.
But things went VERY wrong for the PM during Murray’s victory speech.
The victorious Scot, giving an interview to the BBC on the pitch, was listing those who he said it was an honour to play in front of.
When he got to Cameron, things got a little awkward.
He said: “The Prime Minister of the country… I think plying in a Wimbledon final is tough but I would not like to be the Prime Minister.”
The crowd responded with loud boos.
But Murray tried to find the funny side.
He said: “It’s an impossible job.”
Murray had held his head in his hands and wiped away tears of joy after beating Milos Raonic to win his second Wimbledon title.
