Desperate Clinton camp demand the electoral college overturn the election results

Hillary Clinton’s team have urged the Electoral College to respond to claims by the CIA that Russia influenced the US elections by overturning the election results.

Hillary’s top aide, John Podesta, says the Clinton campaign will support members of the Electoral College in addressing serious concerns over “our national security” as a result of Russian hacking.

Podesta has urged members of the College to take responsibility and rectify the problem by potentially overturning the results, claiming it is their Constitutional duty to do so.

The bipartisan electors’ letter raises very grave issues involving our national security,” Podesta said on Monday. “Electors have a solemn responsibility under the Constitution and we support their efforts to have their questions addressed.”

Politico.com reports:

“Each day that month, our campaign decried the interference of Russia in our campaign and its evident goal of hurting our campaign to aid Donald Trump,” he said. “Despite our protestations, this matter did not receive the attention it deserved by the media in the campaign. We now know that the CIA has determined Russia’s interference in our elections was for the purpose of electing Donald Trump. This should distress every American.”

Podesta’s statement is the first public statement from the Clinton campaign raising questions about the legitimacy of Donald Trump’s victory.

It follows an open letter from 10 presidential electors — including Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi’s daughter Christine — requesting an intelligence briefing ahead of the Dec. 19 vote of the Electoral College.

Shortly after Podesta’s statement, the Democratic National Committee disseminated a POLITICO story that revealed the electors’ call for a briefing. Two Democratic members of Congress have also suggested the Electoral College should take an active role in reassessing — or stopping — a Trump presidency.

One of them, Rep. Jim Himes (D-Conn.), a member of the House Intelligence Committee, told POLITICO on Monday that Trump is a “potentially dangerous president.”

“It became clear to me last night that this man is not only unqualified to be president, he’s a danger to the republic,” Himes said. “I do think the Electoral College should choose someone other than Donald Trump to be president. That will lead to a fascinating legal issue … but I would rather have a legal problem — a constitutional legal problem — then to find out the White House was now the Kremlin’s chief ally.”

  1. I don’t condemn violence, but we need to put that rabbit bitch hillary down she’s so delusional and crazy. I hope Trump puts her in jail for the good of mankind and this planet we need to put a end to people in power destroying what we have left. Peace out.

    • Rabid is even scarier than rabbit, but she’s a child-sacrificing scam artist satanist psychopath, all right.

  2. Clinton campaign will support members of the Electoral College in addressing serious concerns.(Like he cares about their concerns) Take responsibility and rectify the problem. (Take responsibility, speak for yourself) It is their Constitutional duty to do so. (Constitutional duty? coming from you- you must be joking) Electors have a solemn responsibility under the Constitution and we support their efforts to have their questions addressed. (Shut the fuck up you don’t talk like that) Electoral College should take an active role in reassessing — or stopping — a Trump presidency.(He sounds real poetic when he wants something) Electoral College should choose someone other than Donald Trump to be president. (Keep Dreaming!)

  3. What’s this “our” national security when the “hacked” computers weren’t part of nor connected to the US government network? There was no cry for an investigation prior to the election, probably because you were in full damage-control mode for what was revealed by Wikileaks. Assange himself said his source of the data (emails) was from an insider on Clinton’s campaign staff. So how exactly was Russia involved there? Hell, even that script-kiddie that claimed he hacked Hillary’s email server eventually admitted he lied.

Either way, we’re supposed to believe a report from the CIA, all the while forgetting that part of their primary functions is to inject fake news in countries to manipulate the elections, public perceptions and government operations of foreign countries, not to mention they are supposedly prohibited from carrying out any operations directly relating to domestic issues? The CIA is even known to manufacture evidence in doing what they do. And all this comes after a string of failed attempts by the Clinton campaign to challenge the results of the election, the CIA “report” comes out and suggests that Russia was behind the “hack” to help Trump win and not even produce any clear evidence that Russia and/or Trump was involved. By an intelligence agency who lies better than Hillary herself?

The timing is highly suspect. Amidst the incessant proliferation of “fake news”, yah, no… I, nor anyone else, should be buying what they’re selling here.

    • ” Assange himself said his source of the data (emails) was from an insider on Clinton’s campaign staff” – a murdered insider, Seth Rich – just one in a still-growing Clinton kill list.
