Countries risk the same fate as the Roman Empire unless they take urgent action to curb climate change, according to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson
The world risks going “backwards”and could fall “at extraordinary speed” just like the Roman Empire, he said.
Johnson, who issued his doom filled warning on Friday, said that without action to tackle the climate crisis “we could consign future generations to a life far less agreeable than our own.

RT reports: “This is our memento mori,” Johnson told Italian paper la Repubblica during a flight to a G20 meeting in Rome, Italy, using a Latin phrase meaning, ‘Remember that you will die’. The event takes place ahead of a major UN climate change conference in Glasgow, Scotland, known as COP26.
Rome and its marvelous ruins are a perfect place for G20 and COP26, which begins on Sunday. They remind us that if we don’t address climate change, an extraordinary civilization can collapse at a terrifying pace. It’s not a far-fetched comparison.

The problem with the fall of Rome was that the roman elite placed themselves as the popes/bishops and other high ranking positions, so when the Roman empire fell, the black nobility continued.
