Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg says that President Trump is on course to be reelected in 2020 because Democrats are out of touch with reality don’t have an effective message that resonates with real people.
Bloomberg, who politically identifies as independent, told New York Times columnist Frank Bruni that establishment Democrats are repeating the mistakes that cost them the 2016 election and that they are too arrogant to consider changing their ways.
“Hillary said, ‘Vote for me because I’m a woman and the other guy’s bad,’” Bloomberg said about 2016. He said Democrats are out of ideas and are still looking for issues and messages.

He also pointed out that too many Democrats are eager to jump into the 2020 race.
“They’ll step on each other and re-elect Donald Trump,” Bloomberg said.
The news came on the same day Hillary Clinton launched an astonishing attack on the Democratic National Committee, adding the party to the long list of people and institutions that she has blamed for her election defeat in 2016.
At a conference held by technology news site Recode, Clinton said that she inherited “nothing” from the DNC after the party rigged the primary nomination for her.
“It was bankrupt,” the failed presidential candidate and former first lady said. Clinton also blamed alleged Russian election interference for her loss.
“The Russians, in my opinion, and based on the intel and counter-intel people I’ve talked to, could not have known how best to weaponize that information unless they had been guided…by Americans,” Clinton said in reference to fake news websites. She went on to add that the content of her campaign chairman John Podesta’s emails released by WikiLeaks were boring, but that “allies” like Infowars pulled out “outrageous” and “absurd” lies from them.
The WikiLeaks emails did reveal much about Hillary Clinton and her campaign, including that she thinks people who oppose immigration are “un-American,” that her “dream is open borders,” as well as exposing multiple incidents of collusion with mainstream media journalists.
