The Black Lives Matter supporter who was arrested for stabbing a stranger last month claiming that he “felt the need to find a white man to kill” after watching videos of “police brutality,” has now murdered his white cell mate following his arrest.
Jayvon Hatchett, 19, was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime after stabbing an AutoZone employee in late August. Following his arrest, he was placed in the Muscogee County Jail.
If convicted for the stabbing, Hatchett could be one of the first people sentenced under a new Georgia Hate Crime Bill.

On Saturday, Hatchett murdered his white cell mate at the county jail, 39-year-old Eddie Nelson, Jr.
WLTZ report:
The gory scene inside the cell was described as a bloody mess where Nelson was beaten in the head, face, neck and forearms allegedly by Hatchett. The nurse on duty refused to go inside the cell and the guard performed CPR according to a source with first hand knowledge of the incident. The guard was alerted to the beating by another inmate inside the mental health ward.
“How long does it take to beat somebody up to beat somebody to death with your bare hands and not have anybody notice,” Jones asked. Nelson’s mother pleading for justice told First News “something’s got to stop. This has to stop.”
GWP report: Hatchett’s initial stabbing was one of two hate crimes against white men inspired by Black Lives Matter in the same day — both ignored by the national media.
A black man in Colorado was arrested for a hate crime and attempted murder after stabbing a white stranger while shouting “Black Lives Matter” on the same day as Hatchett’s attack.
Steve Sinclair, 30, stabbed 29-year-old Michael Conner while shouting “Black Lives Matter” and saying “I’m going to kill you and your dog.”
Local station 9 News reports, “Sinclair continued saying, ‘Black lives matter’ to police when they arrived according to the first officer on scene. That officer wrote that Sinclair had his hands up and said ‘I stabbed him, I’m a psychopath,’ refused to sit down and ‘insisted’ that officers should shoot him. He was arrested without incident according to the report.”
The family of Conner has set up a GoFundMe as he was their primary provider and he will not be able to work for at least six weeks. He has a five month old son.

I could never understand why county jails put blacks and whites together in cells. It rarely goes well. I’ve been to jail several times in my younger days and to state prison once. I would always refuse a black cell mate. I’d tell them that if they put me with a blaq, then there was going to be problems. They would huff, and get all pissy, and try to tell me I had to, but if I forced the issue they would cave. They could be liable if someone got hurt, because I made it known there would be violence. It’s better in the long run. Blaqs and whites are just different. Why in God’s name would they put a blaq kid that just killed a white man, for admittedly racial reason, in a cell with another white man? I’m guessing the white man was sickly, “slow”, or detoxing off drugs and/or alcohol. The blaq kid doesn’t look particularly large, or powerful, so it seems like he wouldn’t be too hard to fight off. At least enough to keep from being beaten to death…..unless something was wrong with him? I hope his family gets a whole lot of money.
